The 1st Annual White Ninja Halloween Costume Contest
So a couple weeks ago we announced that we would be launching a contest exclusively for those of you who have signed up to the White Ninja newsletter (if you are not signed up you should probably do it because it is awesome... click here to sign up). The contest basically entailed dressing up as White Ninja or one of your favourite white ninja characters for Halloween. Then you simply took a picture of yourself looking super cool and then sent it into us. First prize is a $100 gift certificate to spend in the White Ninja store. Second prize is a $70 gift certificate. And third prize is a $40 gift certificate.
Anyways, Scott and Kent (the creators, if you didn't know) have gone through the submissions and have chosen those halloween costumes that we thought were most awesome. It was not an easy decision at all.

First prize: from Jaeson Szczomak
This picture was just too freakin sweet not to win. Congratulations Jaeson! Enjoy your hundred bucks worth of sweet White Ninja merchandise.

Second prize: from Amanda Wedekemper
Amanda truly got into the character of the baby skunk here (read the comic here). She got in its head and figured out "what does it mean to be the baby skunk. What do I want to accomplish. What does my future hold?" Nicole Kidman should be taking notes. Nicely done Amanda. You get seventy bucks.
Third prize: from Kiril Lazarevski
Kiril totally got into White Ninja and had some great fun with it. I love all of the pictures he sent us. He actually sent us like 15 photos so I picked out my favourite four for you guys to enjoy. $40 for you Kiril.
Honourable mentions:
Alvina as White Ninja rides an ostrich. That could make a pretty funny comic.
A girl calling herself "Cheesy" sent us this. An uncanny likeness.
From Christopher. It looks like some delicious left overs on your table.
From Emma. You don't want to beat white ninja in a game of cards. He'll kill you. With a butcher's knife. He's a crazy when it comes to cards.
From Eric. I love the helmet. Nice touch.
From a different Eric. Eric was really grasping at straws here. He claimed to be the can of soup from "White Ninja buys groceries."

Matt didn't even know about the contest because he isn't signed up for the newsletter. But he did dress as White Ninja for halloween so it didn't matter. That is a bottle of pirate juice he is holding and "I am so fat" written on his stomach.
Phillip said he didn't have any white clothes so he had to use these ring things instead.
Steve is dressed as Eugene from this comic: White Ninja dislikes long hair.
TJ is the White Ninja's son, the dancing egg from this comic: "White Ninja makes a racket."
