It's the day we've all been waiting for! Today White Ninja turns 1000 years old, and if you're reading this right now, you're a friend of White Ninja, and are in the midst of the biggest celebration of all time! Notice, for example, the animated .gifs. We don't just pull those out on any old occasion. Images at whiteninjacomics.com don't move unless they have something really worth moving about. If you haven't played the music, as recommended, we suggest you do. It is currently White Ninja's favourite song, and he'd like to share it with you all. In case you don't speak Korean, White Ninja's young Korean friend is singing, "Congratulations friend / Your health is favourable on your 1000th year / You deserve an award for this achievement / Dance, dance, dance!" Actually, she might be singing in English. Can't really tell.

If you're confused about how White Ninja can be 1000 years old already, let us explain. In case it wasn't obvious, you should have realized that a year's time had passed in between each and every White Ninja adventure. There are, as of today, 1000 White Ninja comics on the site, this particular comic taking place on the exact day of White Ninja's birth - March 15th! Happy Birthday you old buzzard!

When you've been kicking around this planet for as long as old White Ninja, you meet a lot of people. Some of these people end up being famous. Or at least internet famous. Well, when White Ninja's celebrity friends heard he was turning 1000 years old, the cards and presents just flooded in! Some of them even sent us their best wishes in the form of drawings and insisted we share them on the internet. Can you believe it!?

First off, we have some well-wishes from Becky and Frank who do a tri-weekly hand-painted strip called Tiny Kitten Teeth. This comic is awesome for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that the authors live in New Zealand, and that makes them Kiwis! And you know how we feel about kiwis here at White Ninja...

As you can see for yourself, if you choose to look at the painting, White Ninja is surprised that an adorable chick has busted out of an egg to produce for him a cake with a #1000 candle on it! Lit! Indeed, what he thought was simply a typical, plain old egg that one traditionally receives on a birthday, turned out to be so much more.

As you can see, TKT is pretty much the best-looking thing on the internet these days. Make sure you read through the entire archives today, and then show everyone else how excellent it is by wearing one of their new shirts! They've recently teamed up with Topatoco.com, which, by the way, is the only place I shop for clothes. Even pants. (We should explain that Scott is currently wearing the TKT giraffe t-shirt upside-down on his lower half, and it is the most comfortable pear of pants he's ever worn).

Next is a drawing from Kate Beaton of Hark! A Vagrant, whom White Ninja has been a fan of for a long time, and after meeting her for the first time (via email) perhaps has a bit of a crush as well. Thank goodness Kate appears to be similarly, if not more obsessed with White Ninja. Just look at the image below and you will see that it's true.

Hark! A Vagrant is not only the funniest on-line history textbook, it is also the most accurate. We were both (Kent and Scott, White Ninja authors) history minors in University, and we can attest that all the most important things have been left out of the textbooks - things which Miss Beaton emphasizes and enlightens us with. Plus, she has great style, don't you think? Thanks Kate, for puffing up White Ninja's ego on the 1000th anniversary of his moment of birth. Mwah!

Next is a birthday wish from the infamous Josh Lesnick of the comic Girly. Handshake! (no kisses, Josh, sorry). Josh is an incredible artist, the most praiseworthy of his talents being his ability to make people look incredibly shiny! How do you do it Josh?

For White Ninja's birthday Josh hasn't drawn any shiny people, which is unusual. Even more unusual, though, is that Josh has chosen to depict what the world would be like if White Ninja was a pear instead of a human. The result is a funny, funny world where pears make half-assed attempts at puns! Ha!

Oh Josh...
Josh's comic, at girlyyy.com, has been associated with the dayfreepress for a very, very long time. Though Girly is about to come to an end very, very soon, Josh is a man of many projects and I'm sure he'll keep us posted with what he's up to next. Read through the entire archive. It will only take about seven days. Straight.

Next is Kelly Vivanco, who draws the most consistently delightful comic strip on the internet - Patches. Patches wasn't being updated for a while, due to extreme business, but it's now back in full swing, so if you stopped reading Patches during its time off, it's now time to start reading again!

First off is a drawing of White Ninja enjoying his 1000th birthday cake. He probably shouldn't have chosen to eat it in the closet, what with all those candles on it and everything. Oh well, live and learn. The important thing is that after 1000 years on this planet White Ninja has learned that sharing is for losers.

Kelly sent more drawings too! Just in case White Ninja didn't like some of them. Well, I can't see what's not to like about sausage links and balloon sculpture with a flat-faced dog. It appears White Ninja has made some sort of sword, which has beaten the dog's double-helix!

And lastly, Kelly sent a montage of drawings, most of which I don't think she expected to appear in White Ninja's Birthday Spectacular. Well, as far as we're concerned, if you draw a montage, and then write the word "montage" at the top with cow udders hanging from it, you deserve a gold medal! Look how small that horse is!

Thank you Kelly! You're the best!

In a recent email, Kelly informed us that her original intention was to animate White Ninja singing as the Trololo guy. If you don't know about the Trololo guy, you must watch the following video. It has been the number one source of joy in the world for the last couple of weeks. You won't regret the 2 minutes and 41 seconds it takes to watch. This video actually adds time to your life.

Our favoritest Swedish friends made what I assume is a terribly insulting comic about White Ninja. I cannot read Japanese or whatever the heck that language is so I have no clue. I hope that no one translates this and gets offended. If you do though, email little-gamers.com to complain.

Now, to cap off all this birthday excitement, we've made a slide-show of all the gifts White Ninja has received from readers across the planet. It's barely conceivable, the extravagant gifts that you have sent in over the last week! And from all over the world! We don't know a more popular person than White Ninja, and he's not even real! Seriously, we'd like to send out a GIANT SINCERE THANK-YOU to everyone who is reading this, and have supported White Ninja these last 5 or 6 years (or however long it's been). Enjoy this final birthday festivity!
